Zenith Directors are high level
mentors for corporate boards. |
Brief
To create a new Corporate Identity for Zenith Directors that relates to parent company Vogel Percy. “It needs to be superb, appeal to elite clientele and connect with the current Vogel Percy style”. |
|
 |
Inspiration:
Designscope first turned to the current VP logo for inspiration. |
| |
This shape was derived from the top of the intertwined circles, which gave it a suggestion of wings. |
| |
By breaking up the VPC rings and re configuring them, this logo becomes the crest of a wave. |
| |
This logo was conjured from the overlapping VPC circles, which formed a shape alluding to hands, an opening, or a dynamic portal. The client responded to this sketch by asking for the top part of the logo to be taken away; to move beyond a feminine, embracing energy and towards a more singular and direct symbol |
| |
During the next stage we exacted the shape of the logo and developed a colour scheme. Again, we wanted to draw from the VPC corporate colours but add a contemporary twist. The deep blue was moved into the “twilight blue just before dark” and the red was given a dash of hot orange. This allowed the new colours to work along side the current office décor but still have a distinctive style. The Zenith logo was born! |

Outcome:
Zenith Directors is a great example of a streamlined logo creation process. We have previously worked with Vogel Percy on their visual identity and web design, and have developed a good working relationship. This allowed us to succinctly tailor a design aligned to their core objections.
