Holiday Program

Aim

To provide recreational and social activities for children and teenagers with disabilities during the school holidays.

Participants

Children with disabilities aged school age -12 and teenagers with disabilities aged 13-18 years.

Description

Recreational and social activities during the school holidays including

  • Swimming
  • Cooking
  • Art & Craft
  • Day Trips

Eligibility

Must be a person with a disability living at home,
aged under 18 years

To be eligible under the Disability Act 2006 the person must have a significant sensory, physical or neurological impairment or acquired brain injury or an intellectual disability and have a permanent disability that significantly impacts upon and limits the person’s day to day functioning and community involvement.

Fees

$20 per day

Referral Information

Anyone can make a referral as long as the family has given its consent.

Referrals are lodged through the Connecting Care website.
