Adults with multiple disabilities and their families.
This service provides quality support for participants with an emphasis on mobility, communication, daily living and social skills. Programs are tailored and include daily living skills, recreation activities and physical exercise. Activities are both centre and community based.
There are a wide range of innovative activities for individuals and groups including mobility programs such as wheelchair dancing, discussion groups to discuss current affairs, sensory programs, well being programs such as Tai Chi, meditation and spirituality, drama and therapy. Facilities include hydrotherapy swimming pool, sensory room, sensory garden and sensory activity room
Referrals from the Department of Human Services are needed to join the Adult Options Day Service.
